Daa Dum....Daa Dum

Hello Everyone....If I had a french horn I would be blowing that too, to the theme of Jaws, as that's what has been going around in my head while making this card...BUT...this is not Jaws ....this is .....

                                                                             SPUD  ..

.a friendly [cute] shark....and a freebie from Crafty Creations to use in their challenge a Birthday card for a male..I have not added my sentiment yet, as this is going to my Father next Wednesday, and the sentiment was a bit personnal...so will pop it on later...

Anyway....here is SPUD..

I coloured Spud with pencils, and cut him out...and the seaweed that came with him....but wanted some more interest, so found this ball of wool in my cupboard and it was so much like the colours that I had already used..perfect for more seaweed..

That was in a ball, but I could not find the end, so pulled it, then used it  to show you, all the colours in the wool...

Theres a close up of Spud!!

And a side view...added hessian for sand, and shells, buttons and pearls..

Going to enter into the challenge at MAWTT  [Keep it real] as well...

My Dad used to fish for sharks in his day, and I wanted to get away from Golf cards....so this and a couple of bottles of red [which will annoy my stepmother].and .a lotto ticket, should see him through another year....

Thanks for sropping by...Saturday morning here...and have a few things to do before I can play, so must away and get started...welcome to my new follower, thankyou so much for joiming me..

See you tomorrow.....daa dum...daa dum..da.da.da.da.da.da.da.da.......

Luv CHRISSYxx

It's a fab image for a male card and a little different from the usual golf/cars/football etc.

Chrissy this is over the top AWESOME! I love him and I love how you used the fiber and all it's color to make the reaf along with the (I can not for the life of me think of the name)tan fabric make this look fantastic. I think he looks like shark in 'Finding Nemo,' that swims around saying "fish are friends" then when he smells Dories blood he kind of looses it for a few seconds. lol... Really really adorable. Love that your Dad fished for sharks. Boy would I love to sit and hear those stories. The first one being Why? lol Have a great week. Hugs, Lisa
Oh, by the way... Sunday is back.. She is very thin and has a wound on her back, but she is back!
