A Kitchen Magnet

Hello Everyone...who would'a thunk!!...a kitchen magnet on a card...well ,that is exactly what I did..and so have 1000 other cardmakers probably, but a first for me..

I found this in the local book shop, it has new owners and they have brought in so many quirky little things, and this one caught my eye...[have another one too..will show one day]

No colouring for this card...the papers are MME 'Lost & Found' a lace doily, the magnet, and the cutest little chain with a knife, fork & spoon hanging from it...cannot remember where it came from, just something from my stash...

Close up of Magnet....[my sentiments exactly]...

And a close up of the 'charm'...you could say...

Going to enter this card  into a challenge at Our Creative Corner [CAS- use something you find in the kitchen]...fairly CAS for me...

Hope you are having a good week, been a short one for me.. Friday tomorrow..whoo hoo..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Hi Chrissy
Gorgeous card! Love the idea of going with magnets further than putting them on the back of something xx

Great "repurposing" of the fridge magnet, Chrissy - it's perfect with the charm, and I'll second that thought!!

I love how you have ALL these wonderfully quirky items in your "stash." Oh what a treat to take a gander through all your trinkets. :) You can just go ahead and get a little pillow by the door ready for me too!!
Your CAS kitchen magnet is tremendous. What a fun sign to read every day. I fully support that statement..LOL..love that!

How creative, Chrissy! Love the paper you've used as background - makes me think of table cloths used by restaurants serving the kind of traditional, rustic food!
